Aude Extrémo started studying singing at the CNR of Bordeaux, then she entered the Atelier Lyrique of the Opera Bastille in Paris in 2008.
Laureate of numerous competitions, she won the first prize of the ‘Amis du Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux’ competition in March 2007, as well as the first prize of the ‘Jeunes talents lyriques’ competition in April 2009, chaired by Michel Plasson.
She contributed to the founding of the association ‘Opéra Bastide’ in Bordeaux, within which she played the title role of Carmen, in June 2006. She also interpreted the role of Suzuki (in Madama Butterfly) at the Antibes festival, a Musician (in Manon Lescaut) at the Marseille Opera, or even Lieschen (in Faust by Fénelon) at the Paris' Opera. She tackled the role of the Page (in Salome) at the Opera of Monte-Carlo, then the role of Olga (in Eugene Onegin) in Vichy. Her last interpretations included the Chinese Cup, the Pâtre, and the Dragonfly (in The Child and the Spells) at the Monte-Carlo Opera. From May to September 2012, she took part of the festival ‘Opéra en plein air’, playing the role of Amneris in Aïda, in a dozen of performances. Her repertory continues to be enlarged with her interpretation of Maddalena in Rigoletto on the stages of the Tours and Reims Operas, respectively in October and November 2012 and of Maria Cleofe (in La Resurrezione, Haendel) in a production of the Paris Opera's lyric workshop (Atelier Lyrique). She sang the Page (in Salomé) at the Bordeaux Opera in March 2013 (conductor: Kwamé Ryan) and the Third Maid (in der Zwerg) at the National Opera of Lorraine (conductor Christian Arming). She was Ursule (in Béatrice et Bénédict) at the “Festival Berlioz” in August 2013.
More recently, she was Lucretia (The rape of Lucretia) at the Athénée Theatre in Paris (Opera Studio Bastille's production, conductor: Maxime Pascal), Charlotte (Werther) with the Symphony Orchestra of Aquitaine (France) with Bruno Ricaud as conductor, Orlowsky (Die Fledermaus) at the Reims and Tours Operas, Concepcion (L’heure Espagnole) in Tours' Grand Théâtre (Conductor: J-Y Ossonce), Dalila (Samson et Dalila) in Bordeaux'Opera, Isabella (L'Italiana in Algeri) in St-Etienne Opera .
Furthermore, Aude Extrémo performs in numerous oratorios such as the Requiem of Duruflé, the Stabat Mater of Caldara, the Stabat Mater of Madame de Grand Val, the Petite Messe Solennelle of Rossini, the Messe Nelson of Haydn, the Requiem of Schumann, the Requiem of Verdi, and the Requiem of Mozart, as well as the Stabat Mater of Pergolesi. She interpreted the Schostakovitch's Cycle of melodies from Traditional Jews poems at the Aix-en-Provence festival, under the conducting of François-Xavier Roth. In the Auditorium of Barcelona, she plays Sainte Catherine in the oratorio Jeanne d'Arc au bûcher (Honneger) with Marc Soustrot as conductor.
She interpreted the Stabat Mater (Dvorak) at the Orléans Opera with Marius Stieghorst as conductor, and the Messa di Requiem (Verdi) with the Orchestre National de Lorraine (conductor Jacques Mercier).
She is “révélation classique” (‘classical revelation’) of the ADAMI in 2010.
